A private IP address, not your real location

Every one of our eSIMs runs on a private IP address. If you use your real IP address, the websites and apps you visit can work out your real physical location from it. They can sell that information to advertising agencies or other bad actors, and combined with other personal information it can be used to profile you and work out your real name, home address, interests and other personal details.

With a private IP address, websites see an address that doesn't point to where you really are, so your connection can't be used to track your location or build a profile of you.
