Pay with Bitcoin, ETH or USDT
Buy an encrypted phone, eSIM or licence with Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), or Tether (USDT) on Tron or Ethereum. The price is fixed for 45 minutes, there's no surcharge, and your order is confirmed as soon as the payment is.
Coins and networks we accept
- Bitcoin (BTC) on the Bitcoin network.
- Ether (ETH) on Ethereum.
- Tether (USDT) on Tron (TRC-20): usually the cheapest and fastest.
- Tether (USDT) on Ethereum (ERC-20).
Crypto can be used on orders of AUD $500 or more, including our GrapheneOS phones and encrypted iPhones.
How to pay with crypto
- Add your items to the cart. Choose your device, eSIM or licence as usual.
- Choose crypto at checkout. Select “Crypto” under Pay with, and enter your name, email and country.
- Pick your coin and network. Bitcoin, Ether, or USDT on Tron or Ethereum. You can check the address you'll pay from before you send.
- Send the exact amount. Send the amount shown to the address shown, on the network shown, within 45 minutes. Scan the QR code or copy the details.
- Your order is confirmed. Once the payment confirms, your order is paid: digital items are delivered straight away and devices are prepared for shipping.
What the price is
Your order is priced in your currency as usual. The crypto amount is that price converted at Independent Reserve's rate for selling the coin for Australian dollars, the moment you choose your coin, with no surcharge or margin. The network fee to send it is yours; make sure the full amount arrives.
Checks on every payment
Every payment is checked automatically against the US Treasury's OFAC sanctions list, and every USDT payment against Tether's blacklist of frozen addresses. You can check the address you'll pay from on the payment page before you send. Funds from a sanctioned, blacklisted or frozen address can't be accepted or returned.

Questions
Which cryptocurrencies do you accept?
Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), and Tether (USDT) on either the Tron network (TRC-20) or the Ethereum network (ERC-20).
Is there a minimum order for crypto?
Yes: crypto can be used on orders of AUD $500 or more. Smaller orders can be paid by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or bank debit.
Do you charge extra for paying in crypto?
No. The crypto amount is your order's price converted at Independent Reserve's rate for selling that coin for Australian dollars, with no surcharge. You pay your own wallet's or exchange's network fee.
How long is the crypto price fixed?
45 minutes from when you choose your coin. A payment first seen after that is repriced at the rate when it arrives.
How quickly is my order confirmed?
As soon as the payment has enough network confirmations: usually about a minute for USDT on Tron, a few minutes for ETH and USDT on Ethereum, and 10 to 20 minutes for Bitcoin. You can watch it on the payment page, and we email you when it's confirmed.
What if I send too little or too much?
A payment up to 1.5% short is accepted. If more is missing, we email you to send the rest to the same address. An overpayment of AUD $10 or more is refunded on request, less the network fee; smaller overpayments are kept.
Can I pay from an exchange?
Yes, but make sure the full amount arrives: some exchanges take their withdrawal fee out of the amount sent. Send on the network shown (for example USDT on Tron, not on another network).
Are crypto payments anonymous?
No. Like any order, we need your name, email and country, and every payment is checked automatically against the US Treasury's OFAC sanctions list and, for USDT, Tether's blacklist of frozen addresses. What crypto does give you is a way to pay without a card.
How do refunds work for crypto orders?
Change-of-mind refunds, where offered, are store credit. Where the law requires a money refund, we refund your order's price in the cryptocurrency you choose from those we accept, at the rate on the day, and pay the network fee. See section 10 of our Terms.
